Spring Cruise,
May 18, 2019

On Saturday May 18, 2019 several HMCCC members and friends went on a spring cruise to Gettysburg, PA. On the trip were : Frank & Bev Baker in the 57, Tim & Linda Fogarty in the Firebird, Ed & Marsha Z. in the Camaro, Paul & Lynda Schneider in the 55, Lou & Betty Britton in the Firebird, Dan Bell in a Ford Galaxie, and Frank & Alice Smith along with granddaughter Megan in an everyday car. The weather turned out great for the entire day. Some members booked a guided bus tour of the battlefields while others took the trip to the Eisenhower farm. Everyone then returned to the visitor’s center and watched a film detailing the events of the Battle of Gettysburg along with the Cyclorama which is amazing and then toured the museum. After that we all made a short drive over to Hickory Bridge Farm Restaurant and enjoyed a delicious family style meal. After the meal we visited the country store and museum at that site. With our bellies full we said our goodbyes and headed for home.
