HMCCC Christmas Party. Many thanks to Frank & Bev for arranging for the use of the Reese VFC hall and to the members of Reese VFC for feasting us at our annual Christmas Party. The food was terrific and plentiful and we had a very nice time.
	Santa made an appearance - he arrived on a fire truck with lights and siren! The excited HMCCC kids and grandkids enjoyed Santa and gave him their lists. Afterwards, several families got photos with Santa (thanks, Sissy!).
We had many members and a number of guests who enjoyed the evening. And I have to make a mental note (which means someone will have to remind me next year!) that we would like to request that anyone who brings a guest please stand and introduce them!




This year, instead of presenting individual gifts to officers, we gave a $150 donation to Carroll County Food Sunday and a $150 donation to Reese VFC. Members also filled a box with non-perishable food to donate to Carroll County Food Sunday, and we will probably do that again next year.

After we demolished the dessert table (lots of homemade yummy goodies!), and Frank and Ed spoke a few words, the name of each member family in attendance was called and they got to select a gift from the gift table as a small token of thanks to members for the work done throughout the year. The gift table, as always!, had some pretty fantastic stuff. Many thanks to Linda, Marsha, Janet and Sissy - the official shoppers!
